A family owned and operated motel in the southwest corner of beautiful Austin, Texas. We offer clean and comfortable rooms at a reasonable rate. Our rooms have a king size bed or two double beds. We offer smoking or non smoking rooms. All of our rooms have microwaves, refrigerators and coffee makers with coffee service, and now high-speed Internet access.

Heart of Texas Motel's outdoor amenities include a swimming pool with a basketball set up which is a big hit with adults and children. We have a putting green for that golf enthusiast, a basketball "court", and horseshoes. We also have board games, cards and dominoes for those days you can't get outdoors. We have a barbecue grill for our guests use with proper care.

We are conveniently located in the heart of the Hill Country, near the intersection of Hwy 290 West and Loop 1 South. We are approximately 8 miles from the new Austin Bergstrom International Airport, 5 miles from downtown, 5 miles from the National Wildflower Center, 20 miles to the lake and 7 miles from the Austin Zoo. We would be happy to give directions to you to any of the many local attractions.

We do allow your four legged children with a minimum daily charge. We proudly offer AARP discounts unless it is a special event or holiday period. We also offer weekly rates for those spending a little more time in Austin or Central Texas..
